Damn, it's been a long time since I posted anything.

I thought I'd let everybody know a few things.

First, my brother died in October. As you may know from reading my posts, he was a musician who turned some of my poetry into quite good pieces. Some, like "music box army" were experimental/post-rock; however, he was planning on setting a few of my pieces, mainly "the Death of Ophelia" and "Autumn Leaves," into choral songs. When he died, he left hundreds of pages of manuscript for various pieces behind. The past few months and probably for the next year or so, I've been trying to sort through it and see what's finished, what's close to completion, and what's just a scrap. I've found a beautiful three movement choral piece of his called "My Favorite Things." He has asked me to write lyrics to this two years ago, but we never got around to doing it. That, along with searching through Justin's music in general, is one of my major projects for 2008. Look for that probably some time towards the end of summer. Hopefully, I can find a choir to debut it around then, too, so I can post a recording of it as well. We'll see.

Second. I completed my first novel in November for National Novel Writing Month (NaNoWriMo). It's... alright. Needs a lot of work, especially since I wrote it in such a short time.

Third. Delta. I am working on this right now. And. I am nearly complete. This will be the first of many novellas in the series.

Fourth. I never updated ya'll on Parallel Lives. I hope to do so soon, but I am bloody tired. This is my next main project AFTER Delta.
